There are already going out of business signs and discounts all over the store as merchandise is thinned out prior to the store’s closing.

An employee stated that she was sad to see the store go and that it is so hard to find a new full time job.  She would like to stay with the chain but has not been offered any opportunities yet.

According to employees, the store will now try and sell as much of the merchandise as possible and will then shut down the store permanently in about 8 to 10 weeks.  Any other merchandise that is left will be transferred to other locations.

It will leave the closest location to Burbank in either La Crescenta or Van Nuys. OSH filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy recently with most of its holding and assists being sold to Lowe’s.

    1. Why not make the OSH space a Whole Foods? Solves problem of vacant OSH building, and having to demolish the apartments at Avon & Olive to accommodate the Whole Foods.
