The event’s purpose was to help raise funds to benefit the Burbank Police Departments K-9 and Mounted Units. Both of those units put on demonstrations for the crowd of approximately 200 guests.

Several pet adoption groups were on hand with pets to adopted, along with several vendors showing their wares to guests. Burbank’s Road Kings had some cars on display, along with the Burbank Police Department’s Motor Officers.

With temperatures reaching toward the triple digits, dogs were panting and their handlers looking for water bottles along with some much needed shade for relief.

USC’s Mascot, Traveler was on hand to pose for pictures, along with his rider, Hector Aguilar of Burbank. Traverler is owned by Burbank Resident Joanne Ashman.
