The John Burroughs High School Marching Band had a very successful performance in New Orleans where they played the half time show at the Sugar Bowl in the Louisiana Superdome. The excitement was high as bands from 8 high schools played a medley of music from the 70’s band CCR. The 84 students that made the trip to New Orleans also played at Jackson Square and along the Mississippi River. The JBHS band students had a fantastic time in New Orleans where they also took in sights from the French Quarter and Preservation Hall.

The historical Preservation Hall Jazz Band performed a private concert for our students, it was incredible. Our group picture here was also featured in the official Sugar Bowl website.
Here's a group picture of the chaperones, friends of the band with principal Mr. U
This is the 2nd performance at the Jackson Square in French Quarter.
This picture is the first performance in New Orleans, it's at the Riverwalk Gazebo by the Mississippi River.

Last but not least, the picture of the Half time show. The field is so big, we can only fit part of the group in the lens.
