Thursday afternoon at 2:55 PM, Burbank Police officers pulled over a vehicle at a traffic stop near Olive Ave. and Reese Pl. Upon inspecting the car, the two officers who were working “gang and crime” detail discovered a large quantity of narcotics, prescription medication, and allegedly stolen credit cards.
Police arrested one male and one female in the vehicle who are said to be associated with criminal street gangs. Both suspects have records with prior arrests for other identity theft and narcotics-related incidents.
Large amounts of cash were also discovered in the car.
Both suspects were arrested and booked for fraud and possession of narcotics which they were allegedly selling. The identities of both suspects has not yet been released.
