Police Foiled a residential robbery early Christmas morning after receiving a call that someone was digging under their home around 4:30 am in the 800 block of Cornell.
When officers arrived they observed a pair of legs near the crawl space. Police ordered the suspect out. The suspect, identified as Varushan Kirakosyan (52) of Burbank, was under the house attempting to break into an empty safe that was located under the residence.
The suspect is a relative of the victim and was arrested for burglary with the bail set at $50,000. He is scheduled to appear in court on 12/30/14.
