Burbank police and fire units are being assisted by the Sheriff’s Bomb Squad on the investigation of a suspicious device that was seen at the corner of First and Magnolia. Burbank police have closed the Magnolia Overpass to traffic along with a three square block area around the scene. Sears and some of the Media Center Mall has been evacuated.
UPDATE
12:20pm
Device has been determined by the bomb squad to be a bed roll that was left in the area. It is being confiscated by police – area is now opening to all traffic.
