Police Look for Answers After Woman Reportedly Stabbed

Burbank Police were searching the area around the 200 block of North Griffith Park Drive Saturday morning after a woman was reportedly stabbed numerous times in the neck.

Police and paramedics responded after the woman went up to a nearby home just after 2:00 am and asked the homeowner for help, who immediately called police who were on the scene within minutes.

The woman, who has yet to be identified, was quickly taken by paramedics to Holy Cross Hospital in Mission Hills.  Reports from the scene said she told police that she had been stabbed ‘by a friend or a friend’, before she sought help.

Police say the woman was a resident of Pacoima.  Burbank’s Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance. Anyone with information regarding the stabbing may contact Detective Derek Green at (818) 238-3243.
