Members of the Burbank Police Department’s Gang Enforcement Team (GET) have arrested a man who is believed to be a key suspect in a tagging crew that has vandalized numerous locations in Burbank and neighboring communities, including state property along the Interstate 5, and 134 Freeway corridors.

On Wednesday, GET ;members along with members of the Detective Bureau served a search warrant at a residence in Glendale.  They arrested Kevin Crawford, 21, of Glendale, for felony vandalism.  He is believed to have vandalized over 25 locations locally, causing an estimated $10,000 in damage.   Another man, Deymond Fowler, 18, of Glendale, who was at the location when the search warrant was served, was taken into custody for an unrelated assault case that occurred in Burbank.  Fowler was arrested for Assault with a deadly weapon.

The arrest of Crawford was facilitated by information collected back on November 3, when a search warrant was served on members of the tagging crew.  At that time two suspected were arrested, and nearly 100 pieces of evidence were gathered.
