Burbank police continue to search for a suspect after receiving a call at 8:21 pm Monday night of a man who had been shot.
Police arrived on scene at 8:23 pm to find a shooting victim in the 1500 block of Scott Road and immediately called paramedics to the scene. The paramedics treated the man at the scene who was suffering from multiple wounds to his lower body and then transported him with lights and siren to a local trauma hospital.
The victim, reported as 22 year-old Burbank resident by police, was expected to survive.
Witnesses in the area reported as many as three shots being fired in the area of 1600 San Fernando Blvd. near East St.
Police found shell casings in that area where it appeared the shooting occurred before the victim fled before collapsing on Scott Road.
Police have no suspect information or vehicle information regarding the shooting. A search around the area did not turn up anything. Glendale police came in to supply manpower holding perimeter positions freeing Burbank officers to investigate.
Police also did not say if the shooting was gang related or if the victim had any gang affiliations.
