This is probably something the 3M Company didn’t have in mind when they invented Post-It Notes — a car covered in the colorful little squares of paper.
Burbank resident Jimmy Lichnovsky found his Volvo sedan almost completely covered in the notes today. Apparently friends and family members thought it was a great prank to pull on him. The Pasadena City College student wasn’t all that thrilled when he first saw it. His neighbors in the 500 block of N. Griffith Park Dr., and folks passing by this morning on their way to school and work, did get a chuckle out of it.
Jimmy wasn’t laughing. He has to remove all those hundreds of notes before he can drive the car. Although they are stuck on the car now, they aren’t designed to stay in place at freeway speeds.
