When the rain came Saturday night in Burbank, so did the injury traffic accidents.
Burbank Firefighters had to respond their truck to extradite people twice Saturday night, once on the freeway, besides numerous other accidents requiring paramedics.

Burbank Firefighters had to use the ‘Jaws of Life’ to extricate the driver of a late model pickup truck following a collision at the intersection of Glenoaks Blvd. and Providencia Street. The truck ran down a bus shelter, parkway tree and then became lodged between another larger parkway tree and a wall.
The female driver was transported to LA County Medical Center with trauma type injuries, along with two passengers. Burbank Police are continuing their investigation into the accident, but said the smell of alcohol was present from the driver prior to her being transported by Burbank Paramedics.
