Burbank Fire Fighters were called to the 600 block of Olive around 2 p.m. on Memorial Day for alarm bells ringing and sprinklers flowing. Upon their arrival they found a a fire had started in a trash dumpster below a chute.

Sprinklers above the trash chute kept the fire from spreading.   Since the dumpster was in the garage it caused no damage to the building.

Fire Fighters checked the floors of the three story apartment building for smoke and found it had dissipated quickly. Residents went back to their BBQ’s and poolside for the rest of the holiday fun.
