Once again, Burbank is in storm watch and the City is making sand bags available to residents and Burbank businesses. If you are in need of the sandbags, you can report to the front office at the Public Works Field Services Yard. Bring proof of business or residency in Burbank such as a BWP utility bill or driver’s license. Staff will verify the address and issue a receipt with the amount of sandbags to be issued. Visitors will then be instructed to drive to a location at the rear of the Yard where a Public Works employee will help load the sandbags into the vehicle. The yards is located at:
Public Works Field Services Yard
124 S. Lake St
(between Olive Avenue & Verdugo Avenue)
Contact Number (818) 238-3800
Monday – Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Hours may be extended in emergency situations. If the yard gates are closed and there is an active rainstorm, pallets may be left at the front gates for residents in need of sandbags.
