Santa Helps Burbank Mayor Gordon Light City Hall Christmas Tree

Hundreds flocked to Burbank City Hall for the annual Mayor’s Christmas Tree lighting ceremonies on Friday evening, December 5. On a clear evening, the kids, deep with anticipation, lined the street for the cheery man dressed in red.

Prior to the lighting, there were performances by The RC Dance Center Kickettes,The Disneyland Resort Carolers, Boys & Girls Club Burbank Broadway Dancers and The Jordan Middle School  Vocal Ensemble.

Santa Claus arrived via Burbank Fire Truck 11 decorated in lights with sirens blaring.

Santa and Mrs. Claus joined Burbank Mayor Dr. David Gordon on the stage for the big countdown as the Mayor prepared to flick the power switch to a tree donned with over 10,000 lights.

Following the lighting, Santa and Mrs. Claus got comfortable in their sleigh as kids lined up to have their pictures snapped with  Jolly Saint Nick and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
