Burbank Baseball Back On Track

Ricky Perez

The Bulldogs blasted Pasadena, 12-2, in a game called after five innings because of the league’s 10-run mercy rule. Hector Rodriguez, CC Okimoto, and Ian McKinnon each had doubles and Ricky Perez led all with four RBI courtesy of three singles to pace Burbank.

After being held to one run in ten innings against Crescenta Valley on April 27, Burbank scored at least one run in every inning against Pasadena on May 1. Meanwhile, the Falcons night contest against Burroughs on May 1 was rescheduled due to rain.

Starting pitcher, Andrew Hernandez, had the odd stat-line of a two-run  no-hitter after surrendering unearned runs in the second and fifth innings. He struck out seven and walked two.

Burbank is 7-3 in Pacific League play and 10-8 overall this season.
