The United States Supreme Court today ruled in favor of Burbank Police Officers who entered a residence without first obtaining a search warrant because they believed there may be someone inside who presented imminent danger.
It was ruled that Darin Ryburn and Edmundo Zepeda of the Burbank Police Department did not violate the Fourth Amendment rights of the student when they entered his residence. The student was thought to be planning a mass shooting at Bellarmine-Jefferson High School after he had been bullied at the school.
