Burbank residents were in shocked last week when they saw the signs on the outside of Theresa’s Family Restaurant turned around and a Starbucks Sign saying ‘Coming Soon’.
Theresa’s Family Restaurant moved in many years ago into what was then a Wok Of Fame Chinese Restaurant. Theresa’s owner, Rene’ Shea, was unavailable for comment but a note taped on the front door read ” Please Look For Us at our new location to be announced soon. A construction fence now appears around the business located on a very popular and busy corner of Verdugo Sparks and Olive. Construction workers are inside jack hammering and remodeling.
Nice cozy place with decent food but…consistently the WORST service of any restaurant we have ever been to!!! We gave them chance after chance and even pointed things out to the owner that would be helpful for them to do a better job. Nothing ever got through to her. Sadly, the owner had no idea of how to run a
restaurant or work with the public.
i never had poor service and the food was delicious. Starbucks? not so much.
