Burbank Police received a call of a two cars traffic accident at San Fernando & Magnolia and one of the cars ended up inside the AT&T store on the corner.
Several Police units were nearby patrolling the Downtown Business District when the accident occurred. Once on scene they determined the drivers of both cars were not trapped, and advised Burbank Fire who had a full response to continue in to check the drivers.
The Burbank Police units on scene had reported that the driver of the Mustang who was traveling Eastbound tired to avoid a collision when the other driver started to make a Southbound turn onto San Fernando Blvd. The Mustang went straight up the Handicap Ramp and entered the store.
Normally there are several pedestrians standing on the Southeast corner waiting to cross the street, at the time of the accident there none.
Employees of The AT&T store reported that all of couple of minutes earlier they had two greeters standing right where the car entered.
This accident is the second that a car crashed into the AT&T Store within a year. The previous accident again only cause minor injuries, but destroyed the entryway.
