Two men were arrested, while a third suspect is still at large, for allegedly burglarizing a parked vehicle on the 4400 block of W. Verdugo Avenue on Friday, April 25, at 3:05 a.m. after officers responded to the location regarding a possible auto burglary in progress.
“On arrival, they observed a male black inside the described vehicle, a Honda Accord, and another male outside of the vehicle acting as a lookout,” said Sgt. Darin Ryburn of Burbank Police Department. “The black male inside the vehicle appeared to be rummaging through the vehicle.”
Officers contacted both suspects and determined they forced entry into the Honda to commit a theft, added Ryburn. Officers recovered rubber gloves from inside the vehicle which the victim, the car’s owner, says do not belong to him.
Additionally, police recovered a small, thin pry tool that the suspects used to gain entry into the victim’s vehicle. No loss was reported from the vehicle.
Maurice Tyrell Clark, age 18, and Noe Delarosa, age 24, both from Pacoima, were arrested on auto burglary charges and are being held on $20,000 bail. They are due in court tomorrow.
