Two Arrested for Trying to Sell Pot Near Burbank Town Center

They say Marijuana makes you do strange things and two men were arrested on Friday after they decided to set up shop at San Fernando and Magnolia in across from the Burbank Town Center Mall entrance. According to police reports, the men were not only smoking pot in near the intersection, but were also trying to sell the substance to people passing by.

Treston Mitchell (20) and Joshua Mitchell (19), both from Queens, NY, were arrested by Burbank Police after they stopped the suspects in front of Burbank City Hall near Olive and Third around 2 pm, according to Burbank Police Lt. Ed Ruiz.

During their investigation, officers located a large amount of marijuana in a backpack the subjects were in possession of.

Both subjects were arrested and are scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday Sept 30th.
