Two Killed in Vehicle Crash in Alley

On Friday night,October 30, at about 7:34 pm, Burbank Police and Fire Departments received calls from residents reporting a vehicle had crashed into an apartment building wall in the south alley of Santa Anita Street at Sixth Avenue.

When Police and Fire Department resources arrived on scene, they found a sedan had collided with the support pillar of an apartment complex’ parking garage. There were four occupants in the vehicle.

The fire department then called for a physical rescue and an additional 3 ambulances to deal with the multiple victims.

The driver and front seat passenger, a male and female in their late 60s to early 70s, were transported to LA County USC with serious injuries. Both are reported stable at this time.

The rear seat passengers, a male and female in their 70s, were taken to Saint Joseph Medical Center and were pronounced deceased as a result of the collision.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
