Two residential burglaries were reported on S. Beachwood Dr. and S. Lincoln St. on December 19 and 20. In both cases, entry to the home was through rear sliding doors.
On December 19, at 7:30 p.m., after the victim has returned home from being at work since the morning, a residential burglary was reported on the 100 block of S. Beachwood Dr. The unknown suspects gained entry to the home through the possibly unlocked rear sliding glass door. A small jewelry box with miscellaneous jewelry was reported missing by the victim.
On December 20, about six blocks away on the 200 block of S. Lincoln St., a resident reported a home burglary at 11:30 a.m. after being gone from the residence for about 2 and 1/2 hours. The unknown suspects shattered the rear sliding glass door and ransacked the bedroom. Multiple jewelry items including a watch, pearls and bracelets were reported missing.
