Workers from Umami Burger have been working on the old Papoo’s Hot Dog Show (The name was changed from the Hot Dog Show by co-owners Bill and Tom Moore to honor their grandfather from Greece about 30 years ago) at Riverside and Rose to transform it to the trendy new burger establishment.
According to sources, this Umami Burger will stand out from other locations as they pay homage to the original Hot Dog Show by having their own hot dog on the menu.
If you are looking for something special, Umami will be having a ‘soft’ opening on Tuesday from 11-2 and again from 5-8 pm where locals will be treated to free food as the staff works out all of the kinks before opening for real on Wednesday with real menu prices.
