This past Friday evening while Magnolia Park held its “Ladies & Gent’s Night Out” the UMe Credit Union held a party of its own.

Members, guests and the community were treated to free hot dogs, fries, corn-dogs, soda and more, such as carmel covered apples, free sunglasses and reusable shopping bags.

While Credit Union employees greeted guests they had a DJ spinning tones and a photo booth for some classic pictures.

During the evening a special moment took place when Credit Union officials dedicated a tree in front of the Credit Union’s entrance in memory of long time employee Peggy Holliday who passed away recently after a long illness. Holliday’s sister, Sue, joined City Councilmen Dr. David Gordon and Will Rogers and current employees and placed a plaque at the trees base.
