At UMe Credit Union, we love our pets – and want all of our friends to have safe and loving homes. That’s why this Friday and Saturday, July 26th and 27th, UMeHelps will host a Mobile Adoption event in conjunction with the Best Friends Pet Adoption Center in Mission Hills. A variety of dogs and cats will be available for immediate adoption at just $20 for dogs and $10 for cats!
UMe Credit Union created UMeHelps to provide resources to local non-profit organizations in order to foster greater community involvement and to help those who need a little extra assistance. We’re a little pet-crazy here at UMe, so it makes sense that we wanted to give our community an opportunity to provide loving homes to a number of wonderful dogs and cats.
Our partner for the Mobile Adoption event is the Best Friends Los Angeles Pet Adoption Center in Mission Hills and the theme is “Love Comes in All Sizes.” Our goal is to introduce to Burbank awesome pets of every size and help determine which would be the best fit for each adopter’s lifestyle.
To see these adorable pets (and potential best friends!), stop by UMe Credit Union between the hours of 3-7pm on Friday and 11-3pm on Saturday. We should have between 15 to 20 dogs of all sizes, plus 3 to 6 adult cats and approximately 20 kittens. All of the animals will be up-to-date on shots, and micro-chipped, as well as fixed. If you adopt, you will receive a free bag of food and 30 days of pet insurance. All you need to do is complete a short adoption survey and sign an adoption contract. It’s that easy! Best of all, if the adoption isn’t the right match, you can return and re-adopt a better match.
