At about 2:00 Wednesday afternoon, Burbank Engine 14 was dispatched to an auto fire in the parking lot of the Burger King at 535 N Victory Blvd. They arrived on scene to find fire and smoke billowing from the engine compartment of a red Camaro.

The occupant was already out of the vehicle when the fire started, and the cause of the fire was unknown although it did originate in the engine compartment. Burbank Police were requested for traffic control for one lane of southbound Victory Blvd blocked causing slowing in both directions.

The car would later be removed from the parking lot by a tow truck with extensive damage.
