Magnolia Park salon Wax Poetic offers free light grooming for men during the month of Movember for those who make a donation to the Movember charity. Movember (Moustache November) is an annual event for the month of November to raise awareness of prostate cancer and other male-associated cancers and supportive charities. Men who make a donation of at least $10 on the Movember website are eligible for some extra, professional grooming at the Salon, which specializes in waxing, facials, eyebrow shaping and more.
“The Men who are stepping up for the greater cause deserve a little bit of help to keep them looking good,” commented Kerry Hite, owner of Wax Poetic Salon located at 3206 1/2 W. Magnolia Blvd. “A light grooming around the ears, eyebrows and nose will help men raise money for cancer awareness in style.”
The promotion runs through November 30 and men may bring in a receipt for their donation to the Movember website or give a donation at the salon before their complimentary grooming. An official global charity, Movember encourages men to grow moustaches and beards in solidarity and support for raising awareness of and funds for combating men’s cancers.
