Burbank Police and Fire Departments responded to a reported tree on top of a car with a person trapped Monday afternoon. Upon arrival they found a large Ash tree had snapped and fallen across the 300 block of North Beachwood Drive. The driver, Bing Li, told Paramedics she was just starting her Jeep and heard a noise. She looked up and saw some leaves falling onto her window, then all of a sudden a whole tree was on top of her car. Burbank Paramedics transported Li, the sole occupant, to nearby St Joseph’s Medical Center for precautionary reasons. She later returned after being checked out and returned to find the remains of her car, realizing how lucky she was to be alive.
