Wrong Way Scooter Sends Man Right Way to Burbank Jail

Burbank police officers on patrol in the area of Chandler and Pass Avenue around noon on Friday observed a motorized scooter driving on the wrong side of the roadway.

After conducted a traffic stop for the violation and contacted the man, officers determined that the scooter was reported stolen from North Hollywood on the previous Monday. While searching the suspect who was identified as Franklin Moore (18) of Memphis, TN, they recovered a set of brass knuckles and switchblade from the suspect.

He was arrested for Grand Theft Auto and Weapon Violations and was booked at the Burbank Jail.  He is scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.  The bail is set at $25,000.
