For Burbank Noon Rotary, April will be the kindest month. The service club will be giving a total of 12 thousand dollars to several local organizations, as well as awarding scholarships and recognizing “Teachers of Excellence.”

Not to be outdone by Burbank Noon Rotary’s karaoke cacophony at Nickelodeon, Burbank Sunrise Rotary recently went in for an evening of drag queen bingo at West Hollywood’s Hamburger Mary.  The two events had this in common: lots of laughs, generous contributors and successful fundraising.

The Burbank Coordinating Council celebrated its 85th anniversary at the Social Hall of the Little White Chapel.

After the doings during one not-to-be-named Saturday night, some people will never again be able to run for office.

The Zonta Club of Burbank is celebrating International Women’s Day and Zonta Rose Day, on March 8, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., by planting yellow rose bushes at the Headquarters of the Burbank Board of Realtors

Zonta Club and many nonprofit leaders come together to thank Zita Lefebvre for supporting programs that make Burbank a stronger community. Funds raised will benefit the Zonta Foundation, which provides grants to help women receive additional education.
