Forty people, including officials from the City of Burbank and BUSD, visted Miller Elementary to read favorite children's books as part of Read Across America Week.

Members of the Burbank community, including City, BUSD, Bob Hope Airport and Police and Fire Department personnel, along with local business owners and a popular children's book author read to children attending Burbank schools for Read Across America Day.

Students in the BUSD After School Education and Safety Program competed in several events including relay races, basketball, STEM project building, soccer and dance at the annual Field Day event.

Students and parents can sign up now for the free Family Services Stress Management Workshop, aimed specifically at coping with high school stresses.
