On Monday, February 22, 2021 the Burbank City Council held a four and a half hour long public hearing in consideration to revoke, suspend, or modify the Conditional Use Permit for Tinhorn Flats Saloon & Grill located at 2623 W Magnolia Blvd. Staff recommended to adopt a resolution to revoke the permit for violating the conditions of approvals numbers 31 and 32, violating the Burbank Municipal Code, and creating a public nuisance.

Wildlife Learning Center (WLC) is a zoological park located in an old olive grove in Sylmar, less than 20 minutes outside of Burbank. The center is home to about 50 different species of animals from lynx, bobcats, foxes, bald eagles, and porcupines to snakes, tortoises, alligators, sloths and more. Before the pandemic, WLC was a large part of the Burbank community and advocated for animals at school assemblies, summer library programs, and even at Magnolia Park’s Ladies and Gents Night Out event.

Justin Worsham worked with Sliders’ owners to re-create his wife’s favorite ice cream flavor that the two use to get when dating in high school.
