Students Show Off Their Wearable Art at Trashion Show Event
established to raise awareness on recycling and waste reduction by encouraging Burbank students to create wearable art using things that could be considered garbage. Kids showed off their innovations at the event by walking down a runway and posing for pictures in front of the Burbank Eco Council backdrop.
Women’s Rights March Saturday Hosted by MAEVE Burbank
nk Women’s Rights March is happening Saturday, May 14th, and is organized by the MAEVE group of Burbank in response to the possibility of Roe vs. Wade being overturned. The march will take place on the Chandler Bike Path starting at Mariposa st at 10:30 am, while the route leads to Buena List st and back to Mariposa.
