Burbank Parks and Rec DIG Days Are Back

The City of Burbank’s Parks and Recreation DIG Days are back and looking for volunteers. DIG days is a monthly event put on by DIG Burbank that gets the community involved in the clean up and weed removal at Burbank’s parks through hands on gardening. Their next event is on September 17th and will then occur every first Saturday of the month starting October 1st.

Skate Oddity turned Burbank “upside down” for their Hellfire Skate Club event at the LA Kings Burbank Sports Center on August 20th and 28th.  The Stranger Things themed roller skating events were put on by Skate Oddity, a “rock’n’rollerdisco” group that has been holding 80’s music and culture inspired skate nights at the outdoor rink.

Donut Hut was voted by the public as the best donut shop in Burbank for 2022.  The myBurbank’s Best contest 2022 featured over 170 categories in which the community nominated their favorite businesses.  Donut Hut took the win for best donut shop and has been a fan favorite since their establishment in the early 1980s.
