Mountain Lion Sighting in Burbank, What You Need to Know About These Big Cats
On August 23, 2022 at 11:45pm a mountain lion was sighted on the 1900 block of Bonita Ave. The cougar had traveled about a mile away from the Burbank hills and crossed the busy Glenoaks Boulevard before being spotted in a residential neighborhood. Tequilas Burbank and Ashley Erikson to Host Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Event
Tequilas Burbank has partnered with community event organizer and myBurbank writer, Ashley Erikson, to coordinate a Cancer Awareness Fundraiser Dinner on October 12th. The event will be a non-host dinner where 20% of the proceeds will be donated to the Center for Clinical Genetics and Genomics at the Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center in Burbank.

Bret Harte Elementary Hosts Apex Fun Run to Support STEAM, Fine Arts, and Music
Bret Harte Elementary School held their annual Apex Fun Run fundraiser on Thursday morning. The two-week long program was lead by the Apex Leadership Co. who kicked off the events with a school pep rally on September 13th. The fundraiser is anticipated to bring in over $60,000 to help support the school’s STEAM program, music, fine arts and more.

Tequilas Burbank held their second successful tasting and pairing dinner event this past Wednesday, this time featuring artisanal agave mezcals from Michoacan, Mexico. Community members, friends, and council members came out to enjoy the night in the back patio with a five course dinner and mezcal cocktail pairing.
